Call for solutions Texploration

Are you developing an innovative solution to enhance the textile supply chain?
Texploration enables you to co-develop your idea with ten companies from MagnoLab’s network, representing the entire textile supply chain within the Biella district of excellence, supported by dpixel, to foster startup growth and corporate innovation.

Texploration is a free international program launched in 2025 by MagnoLab and designed by dpixel, aimed at identifying innovative market-ready solutions for the textile sector.
A maximum of ten ideas will be selected to embark on a journey of innovation and exploration alongside the companies in the MagnoLab network.

Texploration is based on two pillars:

    • Sustainable innovation in processes focuses on reducing the use of resources, energy, and chemicals while improving efficiency through AI, automation, and digitalization.
We are looking for technologies related to recycling, new machinery for waste and energy management, and regulatory compliance.

    • Sustainable innovation in products centers on advanced and recycled materials, high-performance finishes, integration of wearable technologies, and circular economy solutions.
We are seeking digital tools to accelerate prototyping and customization, as well as new machinery that supports sustainability, high performance, and traceability.

AI and Digital Archives: The Filati Di.vè Solution for Better Business Decisions

The Filati Di.vè project with EPLATO was created to improve and speed up the retrieval of commercial information.
Using artificial intelligence, the system analyzes digitized archives of documents and emails in a simple and comprehensive way, transforming data into immediate insights.
A smart solution to support commercial decisions with comprehensive, high-quality information always at your fingertips.

RE//ACT

The collaboration between Canalair and Mangrovia focuses on the digitalization of after-sales services. The project is based on the creation of a shared workflow that standardizes the organization of both historical and future data.
The implementation of an AI-based tool streamlines field data collection, enabling automatic report generation and making all data easily searchable, thus transforming the service into a strategic asset.

LoomCare

In collaboration with Aracne Textile Soultions, the LoomCare project introduces predictive maintenance solutions for the circular looms at Maglificio Maggia. The initiative does not replace the established processes but enhances them with tools designed to anticipate and schedule maintenance activities, thereby improving production continuity and efficiency. Thanks to innovative technologies and advanced data analysis, LoomCare supports an even more stable and optimized plant management.

Knowledge optimization of textile monitoring through AI

The Pinter Group and E-Plato project aims to optimize internal support processes across the entire Group, improving resolution times and reducing delivery delays, taking into account the challenges of time zones and languages associated with different locations.
It includes document management and customized solutions, with product manuals enriched with photos, tables, and videos for more comprehensive and faster internal consultation.

PET & COT

Filidea aims to recover high-quality cotton fibers from the waste generated in the polyester recycling process developed by PETER, starting from batches of shredded mixed fabrics polyester/cotton, with the goal of transforming a textile by-product into a valuable raw material for new textile applications.

Hemp to Textile Production

Marchi & Fildi and Sylfib are collaborating to create innovative blended yarns using Sylfib hemp fiber, prepared through an innovative retting process.
The shared challenge lies in adapting and optimizing Marchi & Fildi’s preparation and spinning cycles to best enhance this fiber, involving the most suitable partners where needed.

ReBlend

DBT Fibre and BioFashionTech are working together to recycle blended textiles by dissolving artificial fibers in liquid solutions and recovering the remaining fibrous material.
By combining enzymatic processes with advanced mechanical recycling, the project aims to transform complex blends, including viscose and technical fibers such as aramids, into new high-quality products.

Waste2Use

De Martini generates production waste consisting of two different polymers that are mixed in a way that makes them impossible to separate through conventional mechanical recycling processes. As a result, this waste is currently sent to landfill.
The challenge is to leverage CDC Studio’s technology as an innovative solutions to reuse or repurpose this material, thereby reducing its environmental impact and creating value from what is currently considered non-recyclable waste.

FastTrack Info: documents
at your fingertips

The project between Stamperia Alicese and e-Plato aims to analyze the feasibility and build a prototype of an intelligent repository that transforms document searches by production and quality control departments into a seamless experience: instructions and information in PDF, Excel, and ERP formats become accessible in just a few clicks, simplifying and optimizing the search process by limiting it to only the most essential information and reducing paper use.

Real-Time Smart Tracking
for Textile Production

The pilot project launched at Tintoria Finssaggio 2000 to implement an IoT system that monitors fabric and trolley movements in real time.
Developed with Komete, the solution digitizes production flows, reduces inefficiencies, and prepares integration with the company’s management system.
